Southsea Lodge is a charming traditional B and B located in Portsmouth, run by a friendly husband and wife team. the spacious rooms offer a relaxing atmosphere, with a corner bath and tea and coffee facilities adding to the comfort of the stay. the free parking permits for 24 hours are a great value, and the location is conveniently close to tourist spots in the city. the owners are welcoming and the homemade breakfast is delicious. Although the accommodation is a bit basic compared to a hotel, the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere make up for it. Southsea Lodge offers good value for money and a cozy home-away-from-home experience. As a British traveler with a love for traditional B and Bs, I would definitely recommend a stay at Southsea Lodge.
